The rainbow parade in Auckland was an exciting opportunity to capture the powerful connection between the parade participants and the cheering crowds, showcasing the energy and emotions that make this event so special. This project aimed to do two things, the first was to showcase an after-movie of the event featuring a wide range of participants, from business groups, student communities and sponsors, but also the mosaic of Auckland’s LGBTQ+ community. The second was to capture enough footage during the day to build a series of social video assets to promote next year’s event.
